Caraway, Arkansas

A Quality of Life Community

Caraway, Arkansas

Originally a lumber camp known as White Switch, the City of Caraway has grown into a beautiful farming community and is known as the place that people “come home to.” The people of Caraway are proud of their community and what it offers to both residents and visitors. For outdoor enthusiasts, the city park and the Veterans Memorial are popular attractions, as well as the walking paths and the fishing pond.

Local government is making continuous improvements to the City of Caraway by implementing new policies, bringing new business to the area, and upgrading equipment for local city departments in need. Residents of Caraway regularly volunteer their time to serve the community. The local fire department is run by volunteers, as well as basic ambulance services. Residents volunteer to provide the annual Fourth of July picnic and fireworks. Without the volunteers in the community, Caraway would not be the great town that it is today.

The City of Caraway has a rich history that many current residents and their families have contributed to. With this website, our goal is to inform our residents and visitors about everything Caraway has to offer and to be a historical information resource for the public. We are proud of our small town and we encourage you to visit us!
